Why Do I Travel
When someone asks you why do you travel, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Most probably you just answer either business or pleasure, right? Â But what if I ask you to not give me that business or pleasure shit? That I want you to elaborate in one sentence, why you bother to wait for that seat sale, why you learned how to pack light, why you collect those magnets, key chains, or other souvenirs from places you’ve been to, and why you post those travel photos on Facebook and Instagram? Why do you travel? That my dear, is the challenge that I gave to 10 people who, just like me, are consumed by wanderlust.
And now I present to you these 10 travelers who offered their best answer to the question, “Why Do I Travel?”

My family loves to travel. It’s nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle once in a while.
When I was young, I love to travel. But when I have my kids and as a single mom, I stop because I have to set priority with expenses. Though, I am planning now to travel together with my kids seeing the site of airline companies giving discounts. Whew! I miss travelling.
Go back and take your family with you! It will a perfect bonding activity for you guys 🙂
My feet were itching while reading this sis, I miss going on a trip!
Such fun answers and pictures, in the post and in the comments as well.
Thanks for considering me for this post, it was a cool idea 🙂
And thanks so much sis for joining 🙂
Nice insights from like minded travelers. For me, travel makes me modest. It opens my eyes to my real place in the world.
We have a somewhat similar reason. The world is big and traveling teaches humility.
I travel to discover more about myself 🙂
That’s a nice reason 🙂
I like that first quote, where every place has a story to tell. Whether the place be the dark corner of a street, a hole in the wall restaurant, or a magnificent infrastructure. I’m sure each has a story to tell.
Indeed and it’s a wonderful experience to discover those stories yourself 🙂
Travel can really give us new insights, learn new cultures, and appreciate new attractions. I like how you compiled insights from different people and bloggers.
And thank you for sharing your thoughts about this too 🙂
Nice answers! Now, I should travel na rin.
You should 🙂
Wow…Your photos makes me wanna travel as well. 😉
