Have you ever found an accommodation where you felt so comfortable that you never wanted to leave? This place is exactly for me. I found this room through Airbnb while I was looking for Tagaytay accommodation. Not only is the room clean and charming, but it also offers a view of Taal Volcano.

This room can be found on the 20^th floor of SMDC Wind Residences. You can book this room for PHP 2,400 per night. The owner lives abroad so it is being maintained by a caretaker, a woman who lives somewhere in Cavite.

It’s about 20 square meters, has a double bed, a sofa bed, an air conditioner, a TV with cable, a hot and cold shower with a toilet, and a fully functional kitchen. I love the blue and white tones used to design the room; it makes everything look peaceful.

Check-in time is 2 PM, and check-out time is 12 PM. You may check out until 3 PM, provided there are no incoming guests on the day that you’re leaving.

I felt a tingle in my feet whenever I opened the window—a sign of fear but a small sacrifice to see the beautiful Taal. Imagine being greeted by this majestic view every morning; you’d probably have another reason to not see people anymore. My friend, Cai, and I risked our phones by opening the window and extending our hands out to get a good photograph of the Taal (now that’s what you call dedication).

I loved this room so much, it was easy for me to imagine that I live there.
