Coffee Food

Seattle’s Best Valero

It was one of those days when all I wanted was to vanish and forget about everything work related. So I stepped out and went for a break, and ended up at Seattle’s Best. This one is just behind PBCom Tower but in my two years in Makati, it was the first time I’d been there.

The cafe looks really nice and cozy, there are wooden chairs, but there are also the cushioned kind, which is best if you want to hang out a bit longer. The brick columns and this wall covered with photos are my favorite. I even fancied replicating the same design in my future home. There are even magazines and newspapers to help pass the time with.

Seattle’s Best serves breakfast food all day, a true blessing for people like me who couldn’t wake up early. I ordered Ham And Cheese Omelette. It comes with french toast and fruit marmalade. The toast was crisp but soft inside. It was also sweet and tasted good even without the marmalade.

As with the omelette, it was quite filling, serving is big and had a lavish amount of stuffing. The only problem I had with it is the fact that it had too much cheese. Normally I wouldn’t complain, I love cheese, it’s just that it made the omelette a little too salty. Other than that, the food was good.

The White Chocolate Mocha (PHP140) is bitingly sweet, definitely for the sweet tooth.

I went to Seattle’s Best with a heavy heart and left feeling a bit better. Sometimes all it really takes is good food and some peace and quiet.

Parang gusto ko din ma-try yung toast and omelette! Anyway, I do that too, going out on my own, to a quiet place where there is good food. I guess, mas worse lang ako kasi I tend to jump from one food place to another. 🙂 Hashtag: matakaw.

There's a kiosk lang here that serves coffee but we don't go there. Pero naka try na ako when we used to buy a pack of ground coffee sa grocery store.

Breakfast gets me excited especially when I don't have to prepare it. hehehe.

The toast looks like some kind of beef in that photo. Been there too, long ago. Must say I really like the place, its ambiance, and I enjoyed the good food I'd tried. For free.

Food is really a stress buster. Nakaka uplift ng spirit when you are down or just plain sad. Kaya nga most call scenter agents nawawala sa fuigure. So fight stress pero stay fit din dapat. The french toast looks like meat to me.. awwww
